I am a tenured professor in the Department of Spanish Language at the University of Granada with extensive experience teaching Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish at various universities in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
I obtained my PhD in Humanities from the University of Warsaw (Poland) and the University of Granada, where I received the Doctor Europeus distinction. I participate as a researcher in several scientific projects and am a member of two research groups.
My work focuses on sociolinguistics, comparative linguistics, simultaneous interpreting, psycho- and neurolinguistics, and the study of Spanish as a foreign language.
My activity combines teaching, research, and international collaboration in the field of linguistic studies.
Professor in the Department of Spanish Language
From 2001 to 2016, I taught at the Department of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies at the University of Warsaw (Poland). Since 2018, I have been a tenured professor in the Spanish Language Department at the University of Granada. I teach several degree programmes in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the UGR. I am also part of the teaching staff for the Master's Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE).

Sworn Translator-Interpreter of Polish (TIJ-11175). Appointment by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Spain. From 14 July 2016 to the present.
Thesis supervision
I supervise theses on various topics, e.g.:

Areas of research
My main areas of research are sociolinguistics and comparative linguistics. I have carried out contrastive studies on Spanish compared to other languages, as well as on Spanish as a foreign language. I am currently working on the Spanish spoken in Granada, within the framework of several research projects. I have also conducted studies in other fields. I have devoted one line of research to simultaneous interpreting.
